VocaLink has created a new mobile payment service Zapp for banks and online merchants

VocaLink has formed a new company, called Zapp. The new formation will allow residents of the UK to link their bank accounts to their mobile phone number and use it to make real-time purchases. Before the launch of the service, VocaLink is going to connect banks and online merchants. And in 2014, when they connect all sales channels, the service will be fully launched.
