Volkswagen Bank and Visa Europe are testing NFC-payments via smartphone

To test mobile contactless payments, German Volkswagen Bank in collaboration with Visa Europe provided 500 users with NFC-covers for iPhone.
Thus, starting from this month the participants will be testing new payment solution together with smartphones iPhone 4/4S and 5 and will receive special covers iCarte, developed by Wireless Dynamics, with integrated NFC-technology. Besides, next year companies will be testing the same payment solution for smartphones running on Android.
