UniCredit, in collaboration with First Data will introduce mobile payment services based on QR-codes

The European financial group UniCredit signed a partnership agreement with an international provider of electronic commerce and payment services First Data to launch new mobile payment services.
Under the agreement, UniCredit will develop and implement service of QR-codes for mobile and electronic payments based on First Data’s Mobile Gateway. The pilot, which is currently being tested in Italy, allows traders and consumers to generate QR-codes and share with them.
