PayPal introduced a new solution PayPal Beacon

PayPal has announced the release of its new solution in the field of retail purchases and payments, named PayPal Beacon. Business owners who use compatible POS-systems (Booker, Erply, Leaf, Leapset, Micros, NCR, PayPal Here, Revel, ShopKeep, TouchBistro and Vend) received a new USB-device. They need to connect it to a power source, after that merchants can easily accept contactless payments. Using Bluetooth, the device detects a customer in the store who is using PayPal app. After this a photo of a person appears on the registration page in POS-system, and the client just needs to make a verbal confirmation of payment.
