MasterCard together with Telefonica will launch mobile payment service in Brazil

Brazilian joint venture, which includes telecommunication company Telefonica and international payment system MasterCard Worldwide, is ready for the launch of the first mobile payment service in Brazil — Zuum. Thus, users of Vivo, which is Telefonica brand, will receive access to Vivo prepaid account on their phones and will be able to transfer money, to buy credits for prepaid mobile phones in Vivo and pay bills.
