Wirecard and Telefonica O2 Germany concluded an agreement on mobile payments

Telecommunication service provider Telefonica O2 Germany has concluded a partnership agreement with a German provider of electronic payments and risk management services Wirecard. Under the agreement, Wirecard will control processing and provide mobile virtual card «O2 Wallet mpass Card» to the SIM-card with NFC support. Users will be able to perform mobile money transfers using the service ‘mpass Geld senden’, which helps to transfer money from one mpass account to another in real time.
