Contactless mobile payments will appear in Iceland

Iceland is joining the world of mobile payments. According to an announcement of the card issuer Valitor, software, developed in conjunction with the provider of electronic payment solutions Point, will allow merchants to accept contactless cards Visa and mobile payments Visa PayWave.
The software is the first in Iceland, which offers mobile payments and will be certified by VISA Europe and confirmed by standard Visa PayWave.
