ICICI Bank and Movida will provide mobile payment services in India

Movida, a joint venture of Visa and Monitise, entered an agreement with an Indian provider of financial services ICICI Bank to provide the service of mobile payments Movida to the clients of the bank. The service will allow cardholders at ICICI Bank to pay bills, top up prepaid accounts and purchase movie tickets via mobile phone. Indian users will gain access to Movida through mobile technology USSD, or interactive voice service.
