Facebook applied for the European e-money provider license

Within a few weeks, as reported by Financial Times, Facebook will receive a license of electronic money provider in Ireland, that will allow users of social network to store and send money directly from Facebook. Facebook also discussed potential partnerships with three startups from London: TransferWise, Moni Technologies and Azimo.
