Mobile payments in Netherlands reached 1.3 billion euros in 2013

According to Ecommerce Europe, in 2013 residents of the Netherlands spent 1.3 billion euros through their smartphones and tablets. Over the past six months, in the Netherlands mobile payments amounted €735 million, or 13% of the total e-commerce market. In comparison to the previous year the number of mobile payment has doubled.
